We were in the process of training our two dogs and were looking for some good shock collars which would work well. We were comparatively new in training dogs; hence we did not want to invest too much. We opted for Dogwidgets rechargeable shock collars as it seemed to be a great deal. We were thrilled to see that we were getting two collars in the set. It is indeed a great tool to use every time your dog misbehaves. It grabs its attention and thereby our training efforts become more effective.
Since there are two collars, it is convenient to train both our dogs at the same time. These collars are controlled by a transmitter. Hence, we have the option of shocking just one dog which is misbehaving or vibrate both the dogs at the same time. This really helped in cutting down our confusion. We are not much fans of shocking our dogs. So, we opt mostly for the vibrating function. We love the fact that we could get the attention of our dogs without hitting them with shocks. Only if they do something too dangerous do we use the shock button. There are various levels of shocks to choose from which gives us the much needed control over the process.
This set comes with rechargeable batteries. Hence, it is completely fuss free. Whenever the collars are not being used, we can recharge the batteries. These collars truly work well. We would definitely recommend them.
